Description The non-electric aquarium fertiliser dispenser (50-300 litres) provides continuous fertilisation – similar to that in nature. Aquarium plants need a regular intake of nutrients for lush and healthy growth. They are usually fertilized weekly, which means large amounts of fertilizer added at regular intervals. This product will provide smaller amounts but consistent nutrients. V30 is automatically dosed in 4 weeks; S7 in one week. The Dennerle dispenser is made of high-quality plastic and is based on the principle of osmosis. The aquarium water penetrates through the special semi-permeable membrane into the tank, pushing the nutrient solution drop by drop into the aquarium via the tap. This phenomenon has two effects : firstly, the aquarium plants receive the required amount of nutrients and secondly, the doser acts as an indicator of the aquarium : proportionally, the water enters a little at a time and pushes the liquid fertilizer into the aquarium, the mixture of fertilizer and water becomes more and more clear. When the contents of the dispenser lose their colour (S7 – orange, V30 – yellow-green), you will know it is time to add fertiliser.
