La Cayetana is the project of Emilia Soler, wife of Eduardo Soler of Ver Sacrum. She makes these amazing wines in her converted garage! Just 300 cases produced. Hand harvested grapes from 70 year old vines, aged in oak for 12 months, then in the bottle for a further 8 months. We are on the newly released 2023, where the 2022 was awarded 96 Points by Parker and Decanter! Floral on the nose, big purple fruit upfront with big vanilla. Very soft, natural and velvety, then the natural acidity cuts in along with some solid oak on the very long finish.
