Aquarium fish are the easiest pets to care for during your weekend trip or vacation! Only a few fish species cannot be fed commercially available food and only take live food. For the weekend or longer holidays, aquarium owners have a choice: either to feed JBL PRONOVO BEL WEEKEND (for 3 days) or JBL PRONOVO BEL HOLIDAY (for 2 weeks) or to use an automatic feeder (JBL AUTOFOOD) that is filled with their preferred pelleted foods. Most aquarium fish, with the exception of juveniles, can even manage without food for a day or two – just like in the wild. But many aquarium owners are worried about this and that’s why we offer the JBL PRONOVO BEL WEEKEND for short absences. JBL PRONOVO BEL HOLIDAY and WEEKEND food blocks are made of a natural calcium compound that slowly dissolves when fish “bite” it. Bottom-dwelling fish, such as armored catfish or botfly, can smell the food in the block and go to feed when they need to. Be careful when asking neighbours to feed your fish! Most people have good intentions, but often overdo it with the food! Large quantities of food then remain uneaten at the bottom of the aquarium and spoil.
