This tea is based on a mild oolong, blended with fruits and herbs such as lemon verbena. Oolong is a semi oxidized tea, where the oxidation of the leaves is halted earlier than with black tea. The degree of oxidation can range from 5% to 90%, which is decisive for the tea’s character and flavor profile. In this variant, the process is stopped early, resulting in a fresh, smooth, and pleasant taste. French Garden Oolong is a full-bodied tea with fresh notes of grape, apple and lemon that elegantly complements the natural sweetness of blackberry leaves.
