Elegant Oolong from Tai Tung province in eastern Taiwan with beautifully nuanced bouquet. Due to the humidity and the amount of sunshine, the growing conditions for this tea are ideal. Dark Pearl Oolong undergoes a long fermentation and aeration process (70-80%), which gives a strong taste and a dark cup of tea. Profile: This tea is a beautiful quality with rolled, dark “pearls” that unfold in the cup. Due to the long oxidation process, the bouquet is dark and full-bodied, comparable to a black tea, with additional notes of cloves, spices and seaweed.
