New elegant white tea from Pu Erh in Yunnan province in China. The black teas from the Pu Erh area are often fermented and matured/aged over long periods of time in a carefully controlled process. However, that is not the case with this light and elegant tea from the area. It is harvested from the same bushes, but finished as a classic white tea consisting of a top shoot and a side leaf. The cup is light and elegant with notes of sweet fruit and nut. Profile: White Pu Erh Moonlight is of exquisite quality, with large, beautiful, almost silver-coloured, leaves. A sweet, refreshing and fruity bouquet with elegant floral notes of jasmine hay. Recommended preparation: 80°C water / 10 g. per liter water Time: 8-10 minutes
